About Jean
Yoga has been part of my life for many years, and over time it has become much more than the physical practice. It has taught me the value of slowing down, paying attention and creating space to simply breathe.
As life becomes increasingly busy, many of us lose touch with moments of rest and stillness. We become so focused on keeping up with our responsibilities that we rarely pause to notice how we're feeling or what we need.
JL Balance and therefore my work is about creating those moments to pause.
Through yoga, breathwork and mindful movement, I help individuals and teams build practical tools to manage stress, improve focus and create a healthier relationship with work, rest and everyday life. My sessions are not about adding another task to your schedule. They are about making wellbeing feel accessible, sustainable and easy to integrate into the life you already have.
Whether I'm working with someone one-to-one or facilitating a workplace session, my goal is always the same: to create a welcoming space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.
My Story
Why I work with companies
Before becoming a yoga teacher, I spent six years working in corporate environments across project management, sales and customer success. Working closely with clients, facilitating workshops and leading presentations gave me a deep understanding of the pace, pressure and expectations that many professionals experience every day.
Those years shaped the way I work today.
I understand that workplace wellbeing isn't about asking people to do more. It's about creating practical moments of recovery that fit naturally into the working day and support both individual wellbeing and team performance.
Today, I combine my corporate experience with yoga and breathwork to support individuals and organisations in creating healthier, more sustainable ways of working. Based in Leiden, I facilitate sessions for clients online and in person across the Randstad.
My sessions are designed with that reality in mind: accessible, engaging and relevant to the people in the room.
I don't believe wellbeing should feel complicated.
Small, consistent practices often have the greatest impact. A few conscious breaths before a meeting. A short movement break during the day. A moment to pause before heading home.
Rather than striving for perfection, my approach focuses on creating realistic habits that support you in everyday life. Together we'll find practices that feel natural, enjoyable and sustainable. This way they become something you want to return to, not another obligation.
My Approach
Training
My approach is grounded in both personal experience and professional training. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, became a certified Sound Healer, and continued my education through specialised Breathwork training. I remain committed to ongoing learning, allowing me to offer practices that are thoughtful, accessible and rooted in both tradition and contemporary wellbeing.
